FAQ – Frequently Asked Dog Questions

If you don’t see your question here or have something else you'd like to ask, feel free to reach out! We’ll be happy to add your question to this list so the rest of the dog community can benefit t

Q1

Is it okay if my male dog is not neutered?
In most cases, it’s absolutely fine! It really depends on your dog’s temperament. As long as he behaves respectfully around other dogs especially when a lady says "no thank you" we're happy to welcome him. Our facility has multiple separate runs, so we can easily manage groupings to prevent any issues.

Q2

Q: How can my dog join group play?

A: All dogs must pass a socialization test before entering our general playgroup. You can schedule the test in advance so your dog is cleared before arrival.  NOTE: If your dog hasn’t passed the test, they’ll stay in a private kennel until the assessment is complete.

Q3

What vaccinations does my dog need?
Your dog must be vaccinated against the following: Canine Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, and Kennel Cough (SHPPi).

Q4

What happens if my female dog is in heat?
We understand that timing can be unpredictable, and we’re fully prepared. Depending on the situation, we’ll form smaller, compatible groups to limit her interaction with male dogs. No need for special nappies—our facility is cleaned thoroughly every day.

Q5

Is there someone on-site overnight, or are the dogs left alone?
Yes, staff members stay on-site in guest rooms. They check in during the evening for some extra cuddles and to say goodnight. Gentle sleep music helps everyone settle down peacefully. Since we thoughtfully pair up dogs who get along, the nights tend to be calm and restful.

Q6

Can I bring my own dog food?
Of course! While high-quality dry food from Vet-Concept is included in the stay, you're welcome to bring your own, including raw food. Just let us know the portion size or pack individual meals to make feeding easy.

Q7

How does feeding work at the center?
Each dog is fed individually according to your instructions to avoid any disagreements. If a meal is skipped, we won’t worry right away but if a second one is missed, we’ll use a few of our tried-and-true tricks to tempt their appetite. Quiet time always follows meals to allow for proper digestion.

Q8

What’s a typical day like for dogs at the center?
Dogs can begin their morning stretch in the run from 6:30 AM. After breakfast, we clean the runs while they relax and get ready to head back out by 9:00 AM. All play sessions are supervised by experienced caregivers who also make sure pups get enough downtime to avoid overstimulation.
From 12:00 to 14:00 is designated quiet time, a chance to recharge. Afternoon play resumes afterwards, followed by snack time around 16:00–17:00. After a brief digestion break, the final outdoor time begins. The day winds down with soft sleep music, and lights go off at 19:00.

Q9

What is your cancellation policy?
For short stays, we require at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable. For bookings of 30 days or longer, cancellations are free up to 25 days before your scheduled check-in. If you cancel within 5 days of your pet’s arrival, a fee of 40% to 90% of the total booking cost may apply, based on how close to the check-in date the cancellation occurs. Full details are provided in your booking confirmation..

Emergency & Unexpected Absence Boarding

When life takes an unexpected turn, we’re here to help.

Whether it’s a sudden deployment, medical emergency, family crisis, or natural disaster, we offer emergency dog boarding with as little as 24–48 hours’ notice and sometimes even same-day availability. No reservation required.

Our goal is to make stressful moments easier by providing fast, flexible care in a safe, comfortable space for your dog. From Permanent Change of Station (PCS) moves and Temporary Duty (TDY) / Temporary Additional Duty (TAD) assignments to unplanned travel or illness, you can count on us when it matters most.

Plan Ahead for Peace of Mind

To speed up emergency intake, we recommend pre-registering your dog. All dogs must be current on core vaccinations (rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella) for the safety of all pets in our care.

Save our contact information so if the unexpected happens, you're ready.
